Looking back to see how far I've come

Once upon a time I wrote the following in a blog post (found it again while reposting old stuff):

"I just know that love is work. If you find the right partner to work with you can produce something great. If you find a lazy partner the work can eat you alive."

You know, I made a lot of dumb statements about love during that time in my life but this one I think is true. More true than I even realized when I wrote it.

I am so thankful that my husband is someone willing to work toward something great with me.
